Painting away, I find myself reaching for the values of the colours, instead of the hue. Im thinking of them as shades of black and white. This is happening because of my focus on contrast and depth in my work.
Colours sometimes feel like they are disappearing....I need new ones but there aren't any left. Red seems like the same as orange, and green is blue. To deal with this, I use groups of colours to act as one. A number of combination's as one colour.
